Greetings!

 

For the last 17 years I’ve been making way through the entertainment industry, ever since I decided that out of all of my God given gifts, music and entertainment are the ones that will allow me to reach people and show them how powerful and healing love and light can be, through music and entertainment. Figuratively speaking, it’s written on my heart.

 

Born, raised, and currently residing in Miami, Florida (Go Heat?), my youth was filled with musical activities. Beginning in my church choir, then an all boys choir. Later discovering my love for musical instruments and joining every music ensemble that was available in middle and high school to include, Concert, Jazz, and Marching Bands (3 year Drum Major!) Chorus and Orchestra. After graduating high school and moving on to a couple of drum corps tours; accepted as rookie Conductor for the Phantom Regiment in 2007 and Assistant Drum Major for The Bluecoats 2008-2009. I’m not ashamed to say that University was not feeding me in the ways that I was wanting to be fed at the time, and I did not continue on. Though it was one of my best and most audacious decisions I’ve made in my life, I am not encouraging the same path to any different individual.

 

Before all of this, I was a 3 year old Michael Jackson fan. Til this day, no musical and entertainment influence is as great in my life as that of Michael. This company is not about him, so I won’t bore you with all the reasons why I have such admiration, deep respect, and a substantial amount of gratitude to God that he was used on earth for a little while, and during a part of my life. I will write that I can’t imagine who I would be today without Michael Jackson. I understand that seems a pathetic thing to express for a person that doesn’t know the context, nor me as a person, but trust me, I live in my right mind! Ha! And what I mean to say is that my love for music and the art of Michael Jackson kept me in the house, and off the streets of 32nd ave in Miami FL growing up. (If you know, you know!)

 

 

As I consider myself a professional singer and vocalist and grow in knowledge of the voice as a Musical Instrument, I gain more appreciation of the combination of my musical influences to include composers such as Tchaikovsky and Stravinsky or entertainers such as Louis Jordan, James Brown, Luther Vandross, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Whitney Houston, Prince, and Beyoncé. Michael’s influence on me surrounds all those mentioned legendary artists by 77 times!

 

Love & Light Entertainment was created along with my very dear friend, Steph, due to the all too familiar experiences of unfairness in the industry. I’ve been a lot of places, worked with a lot of people, and have led many live show productions, successfully. Our goal is to create a space that is known for good and honest work and fair treatment and pay of our talent. Being on the inside of the men out for money businesses, I’ve learned all the business practices not use. As we grow, we want to provide opportunities to talented individuals searching for a platform to express and use their talents and be valued for their work.

 

Even though an MJ themed show will be our first production, it certainly will not be the only! It was an honour to be a cast member of the small production Who’s Bad Music MJ tribute band for 8 great years, and once upon a time with “Gone Too Soon”. The love I have for creating great experiences for Michael Jackson fans has become an act that is rooted very deeply in my heart, and is an act that I have found where people come and receive certain healing and feel love. Since this is my platform, I can say that, in my opinion, there simply are far too many awful MJ tribute shows, and not nearly enough great and talented ensembles that do his brand a benefit. These are all some of the reasons why our first production will be MJ themed. It is created with passion and knowledge, elements that are largely missing from many similar productions.

 

Spending the last 14 years studying voice, music production, and audio engineering, I’m now ready to being working with a team and offering services in those areas for any individual wanting vocal training, music produced, or music engineered! See dedicated page for more info.

 

As we grow our company, we will be dedicated to providing funds to people in need, specifically, homeless and needy people. With Stephanie’s experience in business and managing big budgets related to people in need, I am elated to have her on the team. 

I simply believe in being good and doing good towards and for people. Giving and helping people is what we are called to do in life, whether one believes or not.

 

Music, entertainment, and being an entertainer are essential parts of my spiritual anatomy. This means that I vow to put greatness in every production and service that come from Love and Light Entertainment, LLC.
